The five Amanah types

Each type describes how you like to approach habits. Most people carry a little of several types.

  • The Organiser

You love plans, lists and a clear overview. Order gives you calm for what matters most.

    Your strengths

    • You create clarity where others lose track.
    • Your plans give you calm for what matters most.

    Your personal Amanah plan

    • Set three priorities for the day each morning.
    • Make the prayer times fixed anchors in your daily plan.
    • Spend five minutes each evening looking back on the day.

A question for you: What do you plan for, and which part of it brings you closer to your Deen?

Next step: Tonight, write down three priorities for tomorrow.

In the Amanah app, tasks, priorities and appointments help you with this.

  • The Seeker

    • You ask why and find depth.
    • You like to learn and stay open to new things.

    Your personal Amanah plan

    • Each week, write down one question that is on your mind.

A question for you: Which question occupies you most right now?

Next step: Take ten quiet minutes for the Qur’an today.

In the Amanah app you find Qur’an, duas and dhikr for this.

In the Amanah app you set goals with SMART milestones.

  • The Fresh Starter

You are at the beginning and want to change something. Every small step counts double for you.

    Your strengths

    • Every first step moves you forward.

    Your personal Amanah plan

    • Begin with exactly one small habit.

    • Celebrate every day you kept going.

A question for you: Which step is so small that it can hardly fail?

Next step: Choose a single habit today for the next seven days.

In the Amanah app you build habits with daily tracking.

  • The Disciplined One

You have routines and you keep them. Consistency is your strength.

    Your strengths

    • You keep going, even on hard days.
    • Your routines carry you through daily life.

    Your personal Amanah plan

    • Look after your streak, but plan a day of rest on purpose.
    • Add a moment of gratitude to your routine.

A question for you: Where can you be more patient with yourself?

Next step: Write down three things you are grateful for today.
